Canadian 2SLGBTQ Housing Survey

Addressing the Knowledge Gaps in Meeting the Housing Needs of Older 2SLGBTQ Canadians

(English version – French version forthcoming)

What is this survey about?
There is currently very little data on the housing needs of two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (2SLGBTQ) populations in Canada, especially older (55+) 2SLGBTQ people. The purpose of this online survey is to better understand the housing needs and experiences of 2SLGBTQ populations from across the country. The findings of this survey will be used to fill policy gaps and enhance access to housing for 2SLGBTQ people in Canada.

Who can participate?
To be eligible to participate in this study you must be able to read English or French, live in Canada, and either self-identify as 2SLGBTQ or be a housing service provider.

What will I be asked to do?
This survey should take about 30 minutes to complete. The questions in this survey are closed-ended and open-ended. There are also a few demographic questions to help us learn more about the demographics of 2SLGBTQ people and their housing needs in Canada.

If you discuss a specific person or place, the name of that person or place will be removed.
