BIPOC Mentorship Program: Mentee application

This program provides a consistent, university-sanctioned framework for graduate student mentorship and professional development for people of colour. This includes support towards careers outside of academia by non-faculty BIPOC mentors (e.g., administrators, industry experts, and community members at large). You will be matched with a mentor.

Role of mentees:

  • Commit to initiating and maintaining mentor/mentee appointments
  • Create goals in collaboration with mentor for academic success and professional development
  • Thoughtful reflection, engagement and openness to mentor's advisement
  • Share knowledge and experience with mentor

Mentee eligibility:

  • Identifies as Black, Indigenous or Person of Colour (BIPOC)
  • Enrolled in a graduate program at Dalhousie University
